The Rain to Rivers...Wise Choices for Cleaner Waters is an education campaign sponsored by Rain to Rivers of Western Wisconsin, and is aimed at protecting and improving the quality of local lakes, streams, rivers, and wetlands.
As we continue through what's left of summer, remember to help keep storm drains clean and clear to minimize the amount of phosphorus entering local waterways. Frequent rain events are common this time of year and keeping yard, tree, and other plant waste off the street and out of rain gutters and storm drains helps tremendously with regards to water quality.
